SUCCESS CRITERIA: Check these off before printing your good copy.
· Use proper short story formatting:
o submission information in top-left corner
o typed, with 12 point / regular font
o double spaced
o indented paragraphs
· Begin your ending by re-writing the TYME SEFARI INC sign, exactly as written in the story
· Include all the characters we have met so far: Eckels, Travis, Lesperance, Billings, Kramer, man behind the desk
· Do NOT copy any part of the real ending; it is not recommended to even preview Bradbury’s full story
· At least three (3) things must be different in the future
· Include both narration and dialogue
· Use figurative language, including at least one of each of the following:
o simile, personification and metaphor

SUCCESS CRITERIA:
· Each page must be a regular page size (8 ½ X 11)
· On each page, include the type of device, the full quotation (in quotation marks), and the page number (in brackets)
Ex: Simile: “He jumped like a cat” (2).
Quotations must be full sentences—do note quote a partial phrase
All work must be of your own thought and design. You may use the computer to create images; however, you must significantly alter/modify the images to avoid plagiarism
